Using the Drawing Tools - Part 1

The OverLocus Image Editor was designed to offer a range of options that allow you to customize the print to your specifications. From a simple outline of the property to detailed labeling of features like roads, gates, fields or stands.

Tool Tabs At the top are the three tabs showing the tools available, the red tab is the active tool. The tools include the draw function for creating curved or straight lines, you also have a text tool for adding type and the image tab for selecting from the stock images.

Pencil Tool Example

The draw tab includes 3 actual tools, the pencil can be used for adding curved lines. The point to point tool allows you to add straight lines from one point to the next. The last tool included in the draw tab is the eraser. This tool will allow you to remove any mistakes or lines you may have created by accident, but will not effect the background property image.

Simply click and hold to use the pencil tool. The option for changing line weight and color is also available in the draw panel.

The lines may appear blurred and jagged; the final print will not have these characteristics.
